Promoting the economic empowerment of women in Ivory Coast

The ProFemme program aims to increase women's economic participation, particularly in urban and peri-urban areas and in emerging sectors. It adopts a gender-transformative approach, which goes beyond simply correcting inequalities to address their structural causes (social norms, power dynamics). The intervention combines public policy reform, improved business support services, and transformation of private sector practices to create a more inclusive and supportive economic environment for women's entrepreneurship.

Raise awareness among businesses about the benefits of a diverse workforce and support them in managing gender diversity.
