Description
The LuxAid Demonstration Fund is one of Luxembourg's main private sector mobilization tools. It aims to accelerate the growth of African companies that have already demonstrated the commercial viability of their innovations and their impact on sustainable development. The intervention strategy is based on a co-financing mechanism designed to reduce the risk associated with scaling up innovative entrepreneurial solutions. The fund intervenes when a company has moved beyond the experimentation phase but requires financial and technical support to scale up, reach new markets, and strengthen its economic, social, or environmental impact.
