The Agricultural Vocational Training and Integration Project (FIPA) aims to establish a comprehensive and sustainable pathway to professional integration for young people and women in Benin, focusing on key sectors of the green economy and sustainable food systems. Its approach is structured as a continuum of interventions ranging from skills training to job placement support and entrepreneurship assistance, with the primary objective of ensuring an optimal match between acquired skills, available economic opportunities, and the requirements of the ecological transition, by positioning beneficiaries within sustainable value chains.

Objectives

🚀 Overall objective:
To contribute to poverty reduction among the Beninese population through sustainable agriculture and professional integration.

🎓 Optimize agricultural training and integration:
Promote short, certified training programs for young people and women, with follow-up and integration into jobs related to green agriculture.

🌿 Facilitate access to climate finance:
Establish an operational Climate Finance Unit (CFU) supporting resilient initiatives and bankable green projects within the PDA4.

🤝 Strengthen sector governance:
Involve regional and local stakeholders to develop attractive mechanisms and promote MSME entrepreneurship, with a focus on gender equality.
