Training, Integration, Entrepreneurship, Resilience (FIERE)

The Training, Integration, Entrepreneurship, Resilience (FIERE) project is one of the priorities of the Guinea-Belgium cooperation program for 2023-2027. Its intervention strategy is based on the principle of sustainable employability and economic resilience. It aims to address the growing need for a skilled and competent workforce in Guinea, particularly among young people and women. It integrates a combination of technical and life skills training, entrepreneurship pathways, support for integration into the labor market, and the promotion of a resilient and inclusive entrepreneurial environment.

• Improving employability: Developing the technical and professional skills of young people and women employees or entrepreneurs to meet labor market demands.
• Stimulating entrepreneurship: Supporting beneficiaries in creating and developing viable and sustainable businesses, promoting self-employment and the creation of decent jobs.
• Strengthening professionalism: Offering diverse and tailored high-quality training programs that include modules on basic skills (literacy, numeracy) and professional conduct.
• Increasing economic resilience: Contributing to the economic and social resilience of vulnerable populations, particularly young people and women who are out of school or have dropped out, by promoting their financial independence.
